If you're a new user who signs up for Spruce by September 30, 2026, sets up direct deposit, and  receives qualifying direct deposits of $500 within 45 days of your account opening, you will earn a $100 bonus.

In order to qualify for the Spruce Kickstart Bonus, you must be a new user, meaning you have not signed up for Spruce in the past. Once you’ve signed up by September 30, 2026, you must set up direct deposit and receive qualifying direct deposits of $500 within 45 days of opening your Spruce accounts.

Spruce makes enrolling in direct deposit easy! You can set up direct deposit in the app with Atomic or manually fill out the form to set up direct deposit with your employer.

Once you’ve completed the required steps to achieve the Kickstart Bonus, your bonus will deposited directly into your Spruce Spending account within 14 business days.

You cannot combine the Spruce Kickstart Bonus offer with other referral offers.
